This website itself is a great example of my web development skills and really shows my passion for it. I worked on this in my spare time alongside University because it's something I genuinely enjoy. I have purposely tried to keep plugins and frameworks to a bare minimum in order to better display my skills. It is regularly kept up to date with my recent work.

This is my flagship project. I experimented with lots of new technologies in this one in order to extend my knowledge. Funtionality includes: Filtering by category, CMS for admin account, venue details (map and closest car parks), view all purchases and much more.

Game Library

Written In: C++

User can login to multiple accounts and manage their library by buying, selling and gifting games. Each user also has a list of friends who they can interact with for multiple benefits. Included lots of work with pointers and linked lists.

Snake and Mouse

Grid-style game where the user plays as a mouse who's objective is to find a nut and escape down a hole. The game inluded many extra features such as cheats, time based bombs and a snake tail amongst others.

This is a server that was created to work alongside a client also created by myself to function together as a message board using JSON. Emphasis was on server side validation to make sure users were restricted on what they could send and how frequently as well as retention of data between sessions.

Workplace Hierarchy Viewer

This program is designed to take a .csv file of employee details and read it into various collections of objects. It will then calculate a company hierarchy and output it in a tree format with relevant additional information.

1st Year University Projects

Forum

Written In: C# ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, SQL

It has the functionality to create users, boards, post on those boards, view all the posts that a user has made and change password etc. The administrator account can also view all the users account details and delete users.

Breakout Game

Written In: C# Windows Forms

The final version of the game includes numerous features such as randomised colouring of each block, endless generating levels, a running points tally as you progress through shown on each "Next Level" and "End Game" Screen.

Car Park System

This was created with the idea that if you took the UI away, the program would work if integrated into the infrastructure of a car park. This includes all the validation around tickets and payment and works with sensors to detect entries and exits.

Christmas Tree

Written In: C++

This is a simple program that's key function is to take a number and print a Christmas Tree of that height. The program includes additional features outside what was asked of me including relevant colours for the tree, trunk and decoration as well as a random decoration atop the tree each time.
